And that is what is the vehicle that's going to get me where I want to go? You want to finally feel good. You want to live unlimited, being the limitless leader you've always been created to be. We get it. We've been there. I used to be exhausted all the time in tears because I couldn't figure out what was going on with my body. And nobody was giving me the answers. It was always, well, let's deal with this symptom this way, this symptom this way. Well, I didn't want to deal with the symptoms. I wanted the symptoms to go away. And the only way that was going to happen, if I could find somebody who could help me get to the root cause of my problems. And what we know is that the root cause of the majority of diagnosis today is lifestyle. And the main one within lifestyle is the food you're eating and the foods you're not eating. So in that episode, we unpack for you, and it's so important for you to go back and hear this because we don't have time to go into everything today that we went into there for you. But we unpack how whole plant foods are the vehicle. You know, if you want to get somewhere, you have to be in the car that's able to get you there, right? If you get in the wrong Uber, it's not going to work. It's going to take you to the wrong place. That's kind of creepy because that reminds me of some of the Ubers that are driving without drivers in them, right? Have y'all heard those stories about how they people end up in the wrong place and they can't get out of the car? Well, that's what happens when you have the wrong information and you have the wrong system, the wrong framework, the wrong blueprint, and the wrong vehicle. So the first thing we need to do is get you into the right vehicle. You need to understand that whole plant foods are the answer. I know it seems crazy. I know it's like, oh, it's just there's nothing that can help with all these different diseases. Yes, there is. The science has been there for years, it's proven for years, and there's a reason for that. Go back and listen to episode 364. Why whole plant foods reverse so many diseases naturally? That's what we want you to understand. There are two key factors we share in there. That's not all there is. There's a lot of reasons why these foods work for so many things. It all boils down to the fact that these are the foods that we were originally created to thrive on. It's like the original owner's manual plan. You know, when somebody creates a product and you open it up and in the package is the instruction manual. And the instruction manual tells you exactly what to do to fully maintain that product, to give it its best, longest, most thriving life. Whole plant foods are that.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh, yeah. If you try to make toast in a DVD player, it's not gonna work out too well for you. And that DVD player is not gonna last very long. And it won't be a mystery as to why not.

SPEAKER_00:

Exactly. And so there are these things that we need to understand. So you want to know why this vehicle works for so many things. Go back and listen to 364. And then the episode before this one is gonna tell you and confirm this is the vehicle and why. Now, today we're looking at, okay, so if this is a vehicle, then why have I tried it before and it hasn't worked? It hasn't lasted, like I got some results, but it didn't last. Or why do I just know in my mind that it's not gonna work for me? Right. You have all these reasons. So we're gonna tackle some of those reasons today and help you lift the blinders off of those so that you can now see clearly and understand those things I believed are lies. They're just not true. Now I'm gonna let Jared share this because a lot of times he gets the incoming calls when he's seeing patients and he starts sharing with them because it works for so many different diseases, why they might want to consider eating more whole plant feeds.

SPEAKER_01:

I do share this a lot with my patients for obvious reasons because it does work so well to address the root cause, not just a symptom, but the root cause of what's going on. And the majority of the times, what I hear first is, oh, I can never do that. And it's a pretty cursory response, just real quick, oh, I can never do that. I can tell they really haven't given it much thought. It's just really a knee-jerk reaction that that they're spouting out. Maybe they've thought about it, maybe they've heard about it, and that's just they've concluded in their mind they can't do that. Well, why can't they do that? I mean, if you sit and think about it, and we have because we hear about this so much, I think one of the initial things is that they can't conceive of a life without the foods that they're eating right now.

SPEAKER_00:

Don't you think a lot of that is because those foods are connected to memories or habits? Sometimes it's just the habit of eating those things.

SPEAKER_01:

Habits, some of these foods are addicting, especially if they're using a lot of processed foods or chemicals, because we know that flavor, quote unquote, flavor enhancers are being added to make us crave these foods so that we buy it more and more profits made.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh my goodness. For example, the non-dairy creamer that you picked up one day in your office.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh, yeah, this was several years ago. A non-dairy creamer container said, warning, contains milk. Like, how in the world does a non-dairy creamer contain milk?

SPEAKER_00:

Because it was intentionally put in there because they know that the protein in milk is addictive. That's not the only thing that protein in milk does that we know is detrimental to our health. It is so bad, y'all. If you knew this, you wouldn't even be feeding milk to your children. We're not even going to go there today, but you need to do some research into that protein.

SPEAKER_01:

I had to flip that puppy over and read the label, and it has casein, which acts on the brain like morphine, gives you that ah feeling whenever you're using any kind of dairy product in your coffee. And so it makes you want to buy their product. So we know that, and that's just one example. We know that this is done with just a myriad of different chemicals, flavor enhancers, whatever that they're using.

SPEAKER_00:

And it's not just that, it's like you talked about recently, the three things that they knowingly do that trifecta that they put in there that keeps you addicted to the food. It's the fats, the sugars, and the salt.

SPEAKER_01:

Yes. Because they release dopamine in our brain and it gives us that ah, we were never meant to eat this much salt. Yes, salt is very important, and salt is naturally present in foods. We were never meant to eat this much, but because it is an important mineral, we do have a draw to it. But wrap your mind around this for a minute.

SPEAKER_00:

If you've ever walked into a bar, through a bar on your way to a restaurant, whatever, I'm not even gonna talk about why anybody's in a bar. We're not going there. What I want you to notice is what is on the counter. Remember how they used to put out like salted snacks free, like happy hour salted snacks, salted peanuts, a salted nacho bar, all these things with a lot of salt. Why would they do that in a bar? Why would they put those things out in a bar? We have to start connecting the dots here.

SPEAKER_01:

Well, one, because people love it, but it also makes you very thirsty. It's not because people love it. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Well, people do love it, but it's because it makes them thirsty. And so they're going to buy more drinks. So it's the same reason they're putting these things in the food that's keeping you addicted to the food. So you keep coming back to those and you think, I could never live without that. That's one of those big lies of the enemy that you believe. And so you say it over yourself, I can never live without this food. Oh, I just have to eat this. Okay. So there are those foods that you've been convinced and you say to yourself, I could never live without that. That's with me, it was cheese. All right. I was the dairy queen. Self-professed was the dairy queen. Why is that? Because those foods are addictive. Like Jared said, they have a morphine-like quality. I would eat it on the daily. I would slice it and eat it with chips. I would put it on my refried beans. I would put it in my sandwiches. I would put it on my eggs. I would put it everywhere. And if not, I was eating it plain. Do I miss it now? No, I do not. I don't miss it. I'm not addicted to it anymore. The addiction's broken. And instead, I've replaced it. So this is the second part of the I can't do it. One, you think you can't do it because you have all these things you love. And some of them are tied to memories, and some of them you're addicted to, right? You have these things you think you can't get rid of and you think you'll never find their replacement. The enemy convinces you, oh, they're so good. You'll never find anything that tastes this good. Meanwhile, we're over here telling you, hey, not only would we find something that tastes just as good, many of them taste even better. They're quicker, they're easier to make than anything you've ever had before. And now they're loving your body back. So you love them and they love your body back. It's a win-win. Like it's a no-brainer. This is why when you have the accelerator framework, you don't dream of going back. You don't have to fight the desire for cheat days because you set yourself up to live in the way that you love. So it's a twofold problem. It's that I think I have to have these things because I'm addicted or I have memories with them. And then it's also the things that you think you can't eat. I could never just eat salad. I could never just eat whole plant foods because you can only conceive of it in one way, which is what you know, the side salad.

SPEAKER_01:

And you've probably had it in one way you didn't like and think that's the end all be all. Salads are just gross. I don't like it.

SPEAKER_00:

Right. Or canned green beans.

SPEAKER_01:

Or well, canned green beans can be kind of gross. I mean, let's be fair, but there are hundreds of other ways that you can prepare them that are amazing. Exactly. And we eat them in a way that tastes the same as what we had before. So, like we might have green bean casserole. So we're still enjoying those things. So if you have memories associated with it at a holiday gathering where that was made, guess what? The good news is you can still have them just in a better way.

SPEAKER_00:

And you're not going to be eating it going, yeah, I can totally tell. This isn't my old family favorite. I promise you, I grew up in a barbecue restaurant and I have replicated almost every single menu item that we used to have in that restaurant. And I don't miss any of my old favorites because when you replace them, and that is the key. Because what you're worried about is, well, if I like chili, what am I going to eat now? And if I like taco and pizza and burgers and lasagna and chocolate pie and creamy frosties and ice cream and brownies, and what am I going to do? Like those are the foods I love. You'll still eat all those things. And it won't be the nasty vegan kind either. And they'll be easier to make than the ones you ever made before. And you don't have the side effects afterwards that are killing your calling, that are destroying your mission, right? We have to look a little deeper than what we've been looking before because there is an enemy that is constantly trying to stop you. This is a reality. It's not just about, oh, I like these foods, so I'm going to eat them. You have to understand you're being bamboozled into thinking that you cannot get away from these foods because you love them. It's just how we eat. And I just need to limit my portion. I got a willpower problem. I got a discipline problem. If I could just find the one diet that shows me how to count it just right, so don't get my numbers wrong. And so then I can no. And then you have to keep weighing yourself. And then you're sitting at every family meal and you're at a restaurant and everyone else is having a great time. Picture it. They're all having so much fun laughing. And you're trying to add up the points, and you're trying to add up the calories, and you're worried about the fallout from the meal. That is no way to live. You want to be the one that's sitting there enjoying the events too, making the memories. But we've been so set up that we're being robbed from on the daily and we don't even see it. And that should stir us up and bring us enough motivation to where we're like, no, you are not stealing from me anymore. I am done believing your lies. There is a way to do this. I can eat these foods. It is not hard. It is not complicated. The only problem is I just don't know how. I just don't have the system. But the system exists. There's the blueprint. And the thing is with the system, when you plug into it and you do what you learn, you put those things into practice, you gain momentum, and all of a sudden you're losing weight. We lost over 75 pounds, never going on a diet, never counting in calorie, never doing any of those miserable things that don't last. Why? Because we started eating the foods that the designer designed our bodies to live on, the peak fuel. So the issue here that you're raising is you think you can't go all in with whole food plant-based because you like these certain foods and you don't like these other ones. So you can't possibly see how it could work.

SPEAKER_01:

But you have to think beyond the fork. You have to think beyond just that meal. Like Anita said, how is this meal making me feel? What is it actually, now that we are taking our blinders off, making not possible for me because I either have a chronic disease or I feel sluggish and weighed down, and oh, I've got to go take a nap. Food should be energizing. Don't think about just this one moment of the flavor. Yes, your food should taste amazing, and ours do. We don't have cheat days. We don't need an escape from the way that we eat. So we love it. It was a gift from our father that food should be amazing and taste delicious. So it can, but you got to think about the impact of what's going on after you've eaten that meal, after that food has been on your fork for just that moment. Is it fueling you well?

SPEAKER_00:

And now they've gotten results and it's lasted for years and years and years, and they're not even considering going back. Why would you when you get the results, the kind of results that this system brings about? But here's another thing to consider. When you start eating this way, your palate actually cleanses. So your food starts tasting different to you.

SPEAKER_01:

Yes.

SPEAKER_00:

I'm not kidding. Like you start eating these foods, and all of a sudden your body is saying, Where has this been all my life? Your taste buds light up. Now broccoli tastes sweet. Okay, that's kind of strange. Like, when did that happen? What are they doing to the broccoli now? No it's your taste buds. They haven't changed the broccoli. You're now tasting what's in there that you've been missing for far too long because your taste buds are coated and sabotaged.

SPEAKER_01:

And if you've never eaten this way before, and likely you have not, it's hard to conceive that what we're saying is true, but it is.

SPEAKER_00:

Well, think about my our client's husband. You know, he didn't go all in, but just watching her and seeing her results and seeing how much she loved the food, and he starts tasting and sneaking bites. And then he's like, hey, I could eat that meal. That's actually really good. And it's one meal and then another meal and then another meal. And now he tastes things differently. And so on the regular, no joke, he's like coming in, she's what do you want for dinner? I just want a smoothie. Just make me one of your green smoothies. He's like, I his body craves it now. So your body also gets a important aspect. Yes. So now your taste buds have changed. These foods taste amazing to you. And not only that, now your body says, Give me more of that. I am a loving this. And then all of a sudden, you're planning a business. Like the same person is looking at now starting a business. Oh, and his doctors just told him his heart age has reversed seven years. Can you imagine? Like seven years. And this is an effect that it had on a spouse. But you're thinking, oh, I can do this. Nobody else in my family does it. And that's your excuse. Don't let that be your excuse. Let that be the thing that fuels you because there are ways to do this that are so stinking simple. We've just believed these lies. Oh, it's difficult because I'll be the only one. We deal with that in the program. It's not difficult. It's not difficult. And it can even have an effect on the people that you love over time that changes their life too. It has this beautiful ripple effect. We've seen it time and time again.

SPEAKER_01:

If you want to see your family get healthy, be the change that you want to see in your family. Will it be a little difficult? Maybe. There might be a little resistance, but be the change you want to see. And what will happen? What we have seen happen for others is that as the foods you make look amazing, as they smell delicious, and the textures and the flavors are just amazing. Then the other people they want to start trying it, they'll like it. So in the example of this individual, he's about 90% plant-based, so he's not 100%. But is he going to get results? Absolutely.

SPEAKER_00:

But he didn't start off wanting to go plant-based. He just watched her.

SPEAKER_01:

He watched her. He wasn't against it. I mean, he was supportive of her doing it, but he himself didn't feel like there was a need.

SPEAKER_00:

No, but when you see your spouse enjoying how they're living, not doing any of the crazy dieting things, actually living life like a normal human being. And then all of a sudden the unexplained migraines are gone, the rheumatoid arthritis is gone, the prediabetes is gone, the back pain, the joint pain is gone, the digestive problems. You were on Nexium 14 years, now you're off of it, gone. Like you see that, and you're smelling the food, and you're going, that looks pretty good. That smells pretty good. What's your next thing? I want to taste and see. The results are pretty compelling. It's awesome.

SPEAKER_01:

It's hard to argue with them.

SPEAKER_00:

Literally, it's just one story. We could tell you story after story after story, true stories. I hate the word stories, even because it's like we say, Bible stories.

SPEAKER_01:

These are true accounts of things on the regular.

SPEAKER_00:

On the regular. This is what we see. And this is why we are so lit about this way of eating this vehicle. It can change everything for you and it can happen quite drastically, quite quickly. That is why it is super important. And I cannot state this enough. When you start working with someone, if you start working with us, even inside our accelerator program, you want to be followed by your personal physician that's in your hometown so that they can follow your labs, especially if you have something like type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, or cholesterol, and you're on medications for these things, even IBS, like we've had clients come off their medicines for IBS under their doctor's supervision because you can get results so quickly that you need to have those medications adjusted, or your blood pressure will go too low, or your numbers will go too low and you start feeling bad. Like you have to be followed because that is the power. It's the reality. Let the blinders fall off. This is the reality of these beautiful foods. What would it be like for you if you woke up every day full of energy, looking forward to how you ate, not having To think about it 24-7.

SPEAKER_01:

Not having to reach for a pill bottle. Oh, my word. What would that be like if you're on five medications now, but you're not on any?

SPEAKER_00:

And all the side effects of those medicines were gone. And all the symptoms you used to deal with were gone. And now what does that make possible? This is why the enemy hates this, wants to shut it down, and doesn't want you to listen to any of this and wants you to think it's all lies. It couldn't be possible. It could work for that many things. Okay, well, if you keep believing that lie, you're gonna stay stuck and we don't want that for you. You have to move past that. It's time to drop the lies and say, look, that is not true. It's absolutely not true. My body was created to thrive and it was created to heal. So there's a problem here. If that's not what I'm experiencing in my life, there's a route to the problem. There are some spiritual things that you need to see and understand in the Bible about healing. We talk about that. We go into that inside the accelerator program as well. Because if you're not getting the bread of life in the living water, it's another thing that's going to be standing in your way of getting the healing and living in the freedom of life that you are meant to have every single day. So that's one of the big things. We only talked about the biggie. That's what we hear all the time. Oh, well, I couldn't do that. And it's because you think that you couldn't go without those things you quote, love. They're not loving you back. That's what's keeping you stuck. Just keep that in mind. So we're saying, oh, I love that. Oh, think about the words the enemy has using. We're eating the stuff that's killing us. And we're saying, this is so good. God would not say, and it was good to those things. Okay. He wouldn't because they're the things that are keeping you stuck and sick and unhealthy and not thriving. So what I'm just saying, we're proclaiming it's good.

SPEAKER_01:

Yes, you're reinforcing a wrong idea. You're saying with your words that this is good, but like you say, these foods do not love you back, and they never will. No matter how much that guru on YouTube proclaims it, no matter how much the guy over at the meat counter in Whole Foods says, Oh, you need this much meat, it's never going to magically make it good for your body.

SPEAKER_00:

No. And then the fear, where are you going to get your protein? Oh my goodness, I cannot with that. Listen, get into our free group at Peak Performance Network at poweronplants.com forward slash PPN. And today it is a sales tactic and a marketing tool, even in restaurants. Would you like a protein with that? Okay, that's all I'm going to say about that. We have to unlearn the lies. You need to be set free. And when you have the system that does that, you're going to think, why has someone not told me this before? Where was this all my life? And we've been convinced it's difficult. It's hard to get healthy. It's hard to be healthy. It's hard to eat healthy. It won't taste good. Okay, so that's one of the big things. It won't taste good. I won't get the things I like. I won't get the things that my body needs. I won't get them for protein. But carbs are unhealthy, right? They make you sick. All this stuff that's a twist from the enemy. It's just not true. Okay, so we have the I'm not gonna be able to eat what I want. I'm gonna have to eat- You never do this. I'm gonna have to eat things I don't like. Okay, so there's that. And then the other biggies that we hear are I don't have time. It's gonna take me a long time. It does not take a long time to learn this. Just get out of that right now. Let it fall off of you. And not only does it not take a long time to learn it when you have the system, it does not take a long time to prepare the meals, to figure out what you're going to eat. You're gonna have the problem that our clients tell us now. You're gonna have a new problem of I have so many things I want to try. I've got to have enough years to try them all. And that's a great problem to have, right? Or you might have the problem that I have now, which is I've gone from being exhausted and having no energy all those wasted days, right? To now being at the point where I have to force myself to go to bed at night because I'm staying up too late. And that's not healthy. So that's a whole different problem. And it's one I'd much rather have. I'll trade that problem all day long. I would never want to go back to the old problem. So thankful to have my energy back. And it's everything because you can't do anything when you're constantly exhausted. So the foods don't taste nasty. They can taste great. You're not gonna miss your old favorites because you're gonna have your new favorites that are as good or even better than your old. Now we're moving into wait a minute, the time, the time, it's gonna take me so much time. No, it's not. It's gonna be quicker and easier than anything you've ever done.

SPEAKER_01:

There are some recipes out there, though, that can take hours if that is something that you want to do. But that doesn't mean that all of them take hours. Hours there are some recipes that we do that take five minutes of actual prep time. Sometimes we'll have, sometimes we'll dump things into an instant pot, hit go. So maybe it takes an hour for it to get ready, but it only took five minutes of our time. Oh, it's so simple.

SPEAKER_00:

You it's gonna blow your mind when we walk you through this. And you see how simple this is, how delicious it is, how you're getting freed up at the same time. You're getting your time back, you're getting your life back. We're just talking about time here and how long it takes to prep the meals or plan the meals, which you're gonna be freed up in that, no doubt. But then you've got to walk beyond that. You need to get rid of the stinking thinking and have your eyes open to how else is eating this way going to free up my time. We don't have time to go into it today. I have a future class coming. We're gonna dive into these things with you. But right now, just know it's gonna save you more time than you can even imagine. It's expensive. No, it's not. What's expensive is having your chest cracked open and having to pay those doctor bills or getting a diagnosis like cancer. That is expensive. This is not expensive. And actually, dollar for dollar, it's way cheaper. Beans, potatoes, grains. Are you kidding me? There it's not more expensive. It's not more expensive. And then you have to look at even if you're buying a huge pack of grapes for a family of six, and let's say you're paying a higher price because you didn't find them on sale and you're paying$15 for a bag of grapes. Well, that bag of grapes is going to save us in the long run. How much money do you think? Okay. Just march that out over time.

SPEAKER_01:

When you look at the accumulated chronic diseases that you're having to manage, but even beyond just the cost of the money, what about the cost in your life? Yes. Shorter lifespan, less vitality in those years.

SPEAKER_00:

Your body giving out before your mission is complete.

SPEAKER_01:

Yes. And if you are in that situation, and we pray that you never get in that position, and that is why we show up week after week. But if you were in that situation, just in your mind, close your eyes. In your mind, think about okay, I'm 70 years old, I've been sick for 20 years, I've maybe you've even been in a wheelchair, and I'm not able to get out and do all those things that I want to do. The cost of that food is going to seem insignificant compared to what you've lost in your life.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes, but I will say the foods are cheaper. As a whole, they're just cheaper. It just you can't argue it. Like walk by the meat counter, walk by the dairy counter, walk by the milk, the eggs, write down the prices. And then let's talk about how expensive those foods are. I had a heart attack the other day when I walked by, not because my arteries are clogged, because I walked by and saw a price sticker on the meat.

SPEAKER_01:

This was a proverbial heart attack. Proverbial, not an actual heart attack.

SPEAKER_00:

No, but I'm telling you, it could almost send you there if you haven't had sticker shock from looking at meat prices for a while, like five, 10 years, and all of a sudden you're looking at it and you're thinking, what in the world is happening right now?

SPEAKER_01:

And we use the example of beans a lot because it's such a great tangible example that we get high-quality organic beans. We don't pay more than$2 a pound. No. And that is a pound dry weight. So when we cook them, it absorbs that water. So it actually weighs more. Such a great. If you take a pound of meat and you cook it, and a lot of the fat and all that stuff cooks out of it, you end up with less food. It's not expanding. It's not expanding. Mic drop. The beans are expanding like our kingdom purpose.

SPEAKER_00:

Ooh, you're dropping the gold now. You're dropping the gold. So we want you to see the whole purpose of this episode is to help you start wrapping your mind around the fact of these lies that we believed of why we can't do this. Start with the pieces that we've given you today, some huge pieces, these mindset shifts. You think mindset, uh, that's woo-woo. No, it's not. These are the things that you need to understand first. This is the vehicle, it is going to change my life. I am not doomed by my age or bad genes. I don't have to stay in this place just because it's how I'm comfortable eating or it's what I quote, like. There are lots of things out there you're gonna love that you just have never tried before because one, you don't know they exist. Two, you know they exist, but you don't know that they could taste that good because your taste buds are hijacked right now, and you don't know how to put them together in five to 15 minutes that they're gonna taste amazing. Once you get this down, it is going to blow your mind.
